McElwain-Davidson House
McElwain-Davison Hall or "Mac-Dav" as it is called by students is named after two important alumnae in Wilson's history. Professor Charlotte J. Davison, class of 1897, taught mathematics from 1902-1946 and Mary Belle McElwain, class of 1885, who served as a member of the faculty, board of trustees, Acting Dean (1942-1946), Acting President (1950), and Historian of the college (1946-1964). Mac-Dav has always been used as a dormitory.
